Friday the 13th

Ah the day before Valentines, time for some traditional romance.

Went to Bricktown, OKC this evening for Earl's BBQ and some horror films.

Coraline and Friday the 13th. Double feature. The Mrs and I happen to do these once a year or so, this was our night. There were more adults watching the PG rated animated than there were in the crowded R rated horror film.

Someone is going to die at the end?

It was 70 degrees today at lunch. Wonderful for mid-February. I know that there's a front coming in today so I throw on a sweatshirt before heading out. I'm amazed at what people will wear when its 34 out and the windchill is in the high teens.
As Mrs and I are standing shivering, a young woman comes shuffling by holding her dress down (and up) and navigating the sidewalks in her heels. I note that the only women who would be out wearing hardly anything after a cold snap sets in are those who are serious about their goals for the evening. The Mrs shifts her four layers around her face to look at me blankly and I'm pretty sure that the conversation just got away from me. Ah romance.

Till next time.

It's been a long time coming. I think I created this thing a year ago but never posted in it.
