Let's hear it for the 'dents.

Another weekend comes crawling to an end... or does it???

Thanks to the government and their goal of enjoying a holiday 10 out of the 12 months, I get tomorrow off (the financial markets are also on holiday). Thanks presidents.

Pretty lazy weekend, I've got two midterms this week. Been working on a delicious mix of Derivatives and Business Ethics.
"I choose Business Ethics".

I've long had a problem with attention span. A 2000 page Business Law book in front of me is one of the many catalysts to this problem. I think that I've found the answer I've been looking for... NASCAR. Popped on the Daytona 500 (with very low volume, the commentary is enough to make you drink, and I'm not sponsored by Budweiser), and studied all afternoon. There were seven or eight cautions and it ended early for bad weather. Concentration is a lot easier when the only distractions are car wrecks. Congrats to Kenseth.

I think I'm going to go make hamburgers.

Till next time.

It has begun...

I work. I've been in Financial Services for five years. I've grown up watching ticker symbols as soon as I inherited my first stock at a young age. I saved up half of all my money from mowing lawns and babysitting growing up and bought into my first IPO. Two years later the company declared bankruptcy... and yet I still work in this business.

I learn. I'm a Sooner. I got my undergraduate in Finance and Marketing and after working for a couple of years decided to go back for my Masters at night down in Norman. This semester will be my last as I'll get my MBA with emphases in Corporate Finance and Risk Management. It has taken me three years, and I can't wait for it to be over.

I've toyed with the idea of starting a blog since I first got into college. I fear the blog would've taken quite a turn to the dull once I left. However, a person with a sense of humour will find the interesting in everything.

My goal for this blog is to speak freely about whatever I'm thinking. Some blogs have themes, some are journals, some are places for opinion. I am a person that loves a variety of things and promise that my imagination is still long for this world.

Till next time.
